A new city manager is set to take over in Watsonville on Tuesday. Matt Huffaker was unanimously voted into the position by the city council on June 12 and replaces outgoing manager Charles Montoya. Montoya resigned from the position May after he announced he was accepting an offer as city manager in Avondale, Arizona.
