A woman jaywalker was airlifted to a trauma center after being hit by a car in Watsonville early today.
Investigators say the vehicle vs. pedestrian accident happened at Clifford and Freedom Boulevard around 8 a.m. this morning.
WPD said the woman was jaywalking, when there was a legal crosswalk 40 feet away. The victim was flown to a trauma center with head injuries.
