At their meeting tomorrow, Watsonville City Council members are expected to hear about a proposed revision to the city’s alcohol sales ordinance. it would allow some select gas station (and convenience store) owners to sell beer and wine. Since the June planning commission meeting, in which Planners split 3-3 on the proposal, numerous members of the community have come out for and against what they see as a loosening of the 2002 ordinance. Tomorrow’s meeting is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Watsonville City Council chambers on the 4th floor at 275 Main Street.
