after facing major budget cuts, classes began at watsonville/adult school. in february, 1.5 million dollars was cut from the school’s budget. many classes have been cut, and student fees have doubled, but school officials are trying to preserve core classes, such as english as a second language and the g.e.d. classes. nearly 5-thousand students are enrolled in watsonville/aptos adult school.
