TWO WATSONVILLE MEN HAVE BEEN ARRESTED FOLLOWING AN ARMED ROBBERY AT A 7-ELEVEN LAST NIGHT (THURS). OFFICERS ARRIVED AT THE BUSINESS ON THE 4-HUNDRED BLOCK OF AIRPORT BOULEVARD AROUND 9:30 FOLLOWING A REPORT OF TWO SUSPECTS WITH A RIFLE. WITNESSES SAID THE MEN LEFT IN A GRAY BMW. POLICE SPOTTED THE SUSPECT VEHICLE AT THE INTERSECTION OF LOMA PRIETA AND GREEN VALLEY ROAD. A CHASE ENSUED. THE BMW THEN CAME TO A STOP NEAR WINDING WAY AND BOTH SUSPECTS FLED ON FOOT. 20-YEAR-OLD CARLOS ROBLES AND 22-YEAR-OLD MIGUEL HERNANDEZ WERE APPREHENDED A SHORT TIME LATER. STOLEN ITEMS AND A LOADED SHOTGUN WERE RECOVERED IN THE SUSPECT VEHICLE. HERNANDEZ AND ROBLES WERE BOOKED INTO SANTA CRUZ COUNTY JAIL.
