the edward a. hall middle school, in watsonville, was the venue for graduation ceremonies for the algebra academy. the algebra academy is a 5 day intensive math program, sponsored by granite rock corporation. 1 hundred and 10 elementary and middle school students were invited to attend the class from 5 area schools. the students spent 6 hours a day with math professors from u-c-s-c and c-s-u-m-b.
