A plan to distribute water through out Santa Cruz county will begin next month.
It’s a pilot program that transfers extra city of Santa Cruz river water to the Soquel creek water district. This is the second year the two water agencies are implementing the pilot program.
This year, Soquel creek is expected to expand the distribution to more of its customers.
