(11:41)MONTEREY- A new solution to the Monterey Peninsula’s water problems was introduced on Friday. The Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency revealed a waste water purification project. The project which will be a four stage treatment facility for agricultural run off and other types of waste water is part of a solution to comply with a state order prohibiting the community from using water from the Carmel River. The new facility is expected to be functional in 2019.
