A warrant was issued Friday morning at a Monterey medical marijuana dispensary. The civil inspection warrant was served at the clinic, My Caregiver Cooperative, after city leaders believed that it was still offering marijuana at the building. A moratorium on doing so is in effect, because city leaders accuse the clinic of omitting their true business model when they applied for a medical clinic. Civil Inspectors, along with Monterey Police officers, broke down the door at the Lighthouse Avenue clinic, after they were refused entry. Photos were taken and an inspection performed, but there were no reports of arrests, or of seized items.
