A MEETING IS SCHEDULED TO BE HELD TOMORROW EVENING, TO GET PEOPLE’S INPUT ON HOW TO KEEP THE HOMELESS WARMER WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DROPS. MEMBERS OF THE “WARMING GROUP” ARE CALLING FOR CHURCHES, THE HOMELESS SERVICES CENTER, THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SANTA CRUZ, AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND GROUPS (WITH LARGE INDOOR SPACES) TO WORK TOGETHER TO CREATE, MAINTAIN, AND PUBLICIZE WARMING CENTERS….WHERE HOMELESS PEOPLE CAN GO TO GET OUT OF THE ELEMENTS. TOMORROW’S MEETING, AT 535 SPRING STREET IN SANTA CRUZ, IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN AT 7 P-M.
