A former campus supervisor at Harbor High School was taken into custody late yesterday in Mexico City. Alexander Napolean Reyes had been wanted by authorities for more than a decade, he was transferred to U.S. custody at 12:30 a.m. today(fri), and was booked into Santa Cruz County jail at 6:30 a.m. Reyes is accused of molesting as many as 5 teenage girls. He went missing before investigations were completed, and authorities are trying to locate the alleged victims to re-open the case. If convicted, Reyes faces at least 5-years in prison, and would be required to register as a sex offender. He is due in court early next week. Reyes was apprehended after U.S. Embassy officials noticed the outstanding warrant when he tried to renew his passport.
