a man is being sought in connection with a stabbing in watisonville last night. around 7 p.m. watsonville police officers responded to the mountain mike’s pizza location on freedom boulevard following reports of a man that was stabbed. the victim had stepped outside to smoke a cigarette when the suspect attacked from behind. the man was flown to a bay area trauma center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. it is unknown if the assaultis gang motivated. anyone with any information is asked to contact the watsonville police department.
