A Watsonville man pleaded guilty yesterday to six felony counts of sexually abusing a young girl. 41-year old Mario Santos Rosales was originally charged with 15-felony counts stemming from abuse that began when the victim was 7-years of age. Prosecutors added a 16th charge of sexual assault yesterday which Rosales also pleaded guilty to. The remaining 10-felony charges are expected to be dismissed at the time of sentencing. Rosales will be sentenced on November 26th and is expected to receive 43-years in state prison. The girl reported the abuse when she was 16.
