A train that brings a children’s Christmas story to life, rolls out of Watsonville today. This is the 2nd season The Train To Christmas Town will operate month long on the Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay railway. An Iowa Pacific locomotive will pull vintage railcars complete with costumed characters, elves, holiday carolers, and Santa inside. The train departs from a depot in a newly built parking lot across from 2nd Harvest Food Bank on Ohlone Parkway near West Beach Street. The ride takes an hour.
