a watsonville man was arrested suspicion of prowling. watsonville police responded to reports of a man trying to break into a residence on cedar drive at about 10:30 p.m. officers arrested 29 year old adrian ruiz and found him to be in possession of burglary tools, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. ruiz was booked into santa cruz county jail.
