pesticide levels near a watsonville school are to be monitored by state regulators. a complaint was made 12 years ago to the enviornmental protection agency that the california department of pesticide regulation DISCRIMINATED against latino students by allowing unhealthy levels of methyl bromide near their schools. the settlement calls for extending a state pesticide monitoring program, and to educate COMMUNITIES and schools in areas of high methyl bromide use.
