Watsonville High School was briefly placed on lockdown this morning due to a theft near the campus. Police say school the school, located on Blackburn and East Beach Street, went on lockdown at 10:30 as a precautionary measure after a report of someone with a knife robbing a near-by business. No injuries were reported. The lock down was lifted as of 10:37.
