a watsonville gang-member was arrested on tuesday for his INVOLVEMENT in an assault using a baseball bat. 18-year-old mario hernandez fergoso and another man allegedly attacked a man with a baseball bat while yelling gang-related taunts. fergoso was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. the other assailant is currently being sought. anyone with any information on this incident is encouraged to contact the watsonville police department.
