Following blatant community disregard for social distancing and Shelter-In-Place ordered by the Santa Cruz County Health Officer, West Cliff Drive no longer offers parking spots along the coastal stretch of road.
City officials began placing signage and barriers along the various parking spots on West Cliff Drive shortly after midnight on Saturday.
Additionally, the following beach parking lots are closed: Lighthouse Point, Cowell Beach, Steamer Lane, Lighthouse Field, Natural Bridges State Park.
