Increasing flu cases at Hollister-area nursing facilities has forced a restriction on hospital visitors to prevent the spread of the disease.
Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility and Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital have temporarily restricted visitors to all skilled nursing residents in the two facilities.
There have been six confirmed Influenza-A cases among skilled nursing residents. The policies caused the county health department to enact the restrictions.
