Santa Cruz police managed to defuse a potentially dangerous situation yesterday when they broke up a fight on the footbridge at the end of Felker street near downtown.
Police say, the suspect chase mason, attacked the victim with a two by four because he thought the victim had threatened a relative. When police searched mason’s vehicle they found two guns.
Mason had apparently shot himself in the leg while practicing the “quick draw” method. Police were able to remove the guns under a gun violence restraining order.
