THE COMMISSION FOR THE PREVENTION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IS OFFERING A WORKSHOP IN SANTA CRUZ. THE FREE WORKSHOP, CALLED “ENGAGING THE BYSTANDER”, IS DESIGNED TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ON HOW TO RESPOND TO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN. THE MEETING OFFERS INFORMATION, TECHNIQUES, AND DISCUSSIONS ON HOW TO DEAL WITH DIFFICULT SITUATIONS. THE WORKSHOP IS OPEN TO BOTH MEN AND WOMEN 18-YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. THE WORKSHOP TAKES PLACE TODAY (TUES) FROM 7 TO 8:30 P-M AT THE CENTER STREET COMMUNITY ROOM.
