The Monterey county board of supervisors did vote to reject the proposed 46-unit villas de Carmelo project. [A previous newscast had reported conflicting information,] however ksco spoke with Monterey county supervisor dave potter, whose district includes the site of the proposed complex, on the land formerly occupied by the carmel convalescent hospital. potter confirmed that supervisors did recommend rejecting the plan. Developers will have 1-last-minute attempt to address concerns about the project, before it is formally rejected on november 15th.
