Salinas police are investigating a strong-armed robbery that occurred Saturday evening. A 17-year-old girl was walking near front and harvest streets, when a vehicle pulled up (and blocked her path), somebody got out, and demanded her purse at knife-point. The victim was uninjured, and reported the incident from her nearby house. The suspects’ vehicle was described only as a tan, 4-door car. anyone with information about the 6:30 p.m. incident is encouraged to contact the salinas police department.
