A new dental clinic for veterans will open in Marina just in time for Veterans’ Day. The non-profit, Dentistry4Vets, provides dental care to eligible veterans on the Central Coast with the help of volunteer dentists and oral surgeons.
The clinic will be located in the Montage Health Center on Second Avenue. Dentistry4Vets said the site was donated by the Montage Health Foundation and Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. Other supplies were donated by the Henry Schein Cares Foundation and local dentists.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the clinic is set for Nov. 10, the day before Veterans Day.
Since it started in 2018, the organization said it has provided care to more than 150 local veterans.
