It’s a Veteran’s Day parade of a different kind today in downtown Santa Cruz.
Supporters will walk 22 laps around the city center as a memorial to the number of veterans who commit suicide in the u-s daily. The walk is called a “journey for change” and the motto is “you are not alone.”
Front and water streets will be closed for the event and following the walk is the veterans day festival starting at 11a.m. where there will be food, music, government speakers and much more!
