A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Friday at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad. The new Veterans unit is designed to house, rehabilitate, and provide services for hundreds of incarcerated veterans. Shasta Hall can house 120 veterans right now, but can also be expanded if that is needed. A spokesperson for CTF said they are getting applications from veteran inmates at other facilities, and that eventually they hope eventually to be able to serve a thousand veterans
