A 26 year-old Santa Cruz man has been sentenced to 6 years in prison. Robert Wright was found guilty in September, of Gross Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated, after the vehicle he was driving hit and killed a man in Santa Cruz nearly 2 years ago. Wright is expected to serve the remainder of his sentence in San Quentin State Prison.
