Santa Cruz county health officials are expecting the first shipment of the Covid 19 vaccinaiton as early as next week.
In short, the county will follow the reccomendation of the state when it comes to distribution of the highly anticipated vaccine. Health officials will implement a phased and tiered approach that includes hospitals and first responders as a first priority.
Eventually, the county would like to provide mass vaccinations at locations like pop-ups and drive throughs but no sites have yet been designated.
