A new website has been launched to assist with searching for where to get vaccinated.
Dr. Jacob Asher, Medical Officer with United Healthcare explains.
“United Healthcare wanted to help both our members as well as the public navigate the complicated world of obtaining vaccines. We developed a website at UHC.Com/VaccineLocator. Folks can type in their zip code and easily understand what is available in their local area. It asks for your zipcode, and you enter that. The first thing it returns with is your local county, as well as California state-specific information about who is currently eligible for vaccination.”
Dr. Asher advises that the list is always updating, most major pharmacies are also lis ted but may not include all community vaccination clinics such as those at churches.
