On Wednesday evening, an organized protest took place in Santa Cruz took place. During the protesters’ march, the group spent time in the area of Emmet St and High St, near Mission Plaza Park and Holy Cross Church. While in this area, participants in the march vandalized Mission Santa Cruz and a memorial plaque within Mission Plaza Park.
The suspects spray painted various slogans and profanity with red spray paint.
The Santa Cruz Police Department is asking the community’s assistance in identifying the participants in the spray painting.
