Vaccination programs are now being planned for those who are homebound, and not able to get to a vaccine clinic. Reportedly, Santa Cruz county had a strike team dedicated to vaccinating homebound people, but there were supply issues and the temporary pause in the Johnson & Johnson vaccine halted those efforts….as the single-shot vaccine is a particularly good choice in that sort of scenario.
A pilot program in the Central Valley, which is designed to vaccinate this demographic, is also set to expand into Santa Cruz county next month.
