CARR FIRE 07:20:
The Carr Fire has burned more than 173,000 acres in and around Redding, and is 47 percent contained. Approximately 1600 structures have been destroyed, and 1800 are still threatened.
MENDOCINO COMPLEX 07:09:
The Mendocino Complex Fire has burned more than 300,000 acres, making it the largest wildfire in recorded history in California. It is now 47 percent contained. This Fire has destroyed more than 200 structures, and threatens 10,300 more.
FERGUSON FIRE 07:45 AND 10:00:
The Ferguson Fire has burned more than 94,000 acres and is 43% contained. Firefighters are working to not only keep the fire out of Yosemite National Park, but to secure the communities of Foresta, and Yosemite West too. Portions of Yosemite National Park are still closed, including Yosemite Valley, and both the Mariposa and Merced Groves of Giant Sequoias. Several campgrounds are also still closed.
