Paso Robles police say investigators have finished searching the downtown area for the suspect in a homicide that may be connected to a shooting earlier Wednesday morning at the police station.
Investigators say a body was found near the Amtrak station at 8th St and Pine St. The Sheriff’s Office said the man was shot in the head at close range.
Investigators believe that killing may be related to a shooting Wednesday morning at the police station in Paso Robles. A Sheriff’s deputy was injured and is reported to be in serious but stable condition.
Investigators are looking for the suspect, who is described as a man in his 20s or 30s.
