All of the California State Propositions only needed a Simple Majority to be approved, and with 99 percent of the votes counted, 5 appear to have been approved by voters, and 7 were rejected. The 5 that were approved were Propositions 14 (which authorizes funding for Stem Cell Research), 17 (which restored the right of felons to vote after they are done with their prison terms, but before the complete parole), 19 (which changes certain property tax rules, including those involved with family-property transfers), 22 (which exchanges employment classification rules for app-based transportation and delivery drivers), and 24 (which changes the criteria for which businesses must comply with consumer privacy laws).
