UC Santa Cruz police have found a person of interest in connection with a series of car burglaries. Four vehicle break-ins have been reported since December 26th. The burglaries occurred in the evening or early morning in lots near Family Student Housing and Cowell and Kresge colleges. Investigators say they have a surveillance image of an individual using a stolen debit card at a local market. He is described as a white male adult in his 30s, who is heavy set with a mustache.
