Seaside police officers are seeking the public’s assistance in determining who a teen was with, and what drugs she may have ingested. That after a 16 year-old high school student died as the result of an overdose. Perla Velasco Cruz was found Friday on a Sonoma Avenue sidewalk.
Cruz attended Monterey High School, before transferring to Central Coast High School. Grief counselors are on-hand at both schools.
