(Updated at 06:05) – A Greenfield woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Salinas Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. at Alisal and Zabala roads. Officials say a car being driven by 23-year-old Emilio Garrido veered into oncoming traffic and struck a car carrying 27-year-old Amanda Bernal and her 4-year-old daughter. All three were transported to the hospital. Amanda Bernal later died from her injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
