Officials say 16-year-old Juan Angel Perez was riding his bicycle when he was approached by three Hispanic males. They opened fire on the teenager before fleeing the scene. Perez was pronounced dead shortly after. Investigators believe the shooting is gang related. Anyone with information is urged to contact Salinas police.
