(Updated at 06:56) – Two men died and one woman was seriously injured after a head-on collision in Watsonville Sunday night. The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on Holohan Road between Green Valley Road and East Lake Avenue. The crash involved a Ford Taurus and a Toyota pick-up truck. The driver of the Taurus and his male passenger were pronounced dead shortly after the crash. The driver of the pick-up truck, 57-year-old Erin Wakefield, was airlifted to a trauma center with major injuries. She is expected to survive. The cause of the crash is under investigation. (S.G.)

The closure was made while the CHP investigated an accident that took place around 6 p.m. At this time it is unknown how may vehicles were involved or if there were any injuries. (P.M.D.)
