The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office will hold a news conference at 11:30 this morning where it is expected to release a new video and additional facts about the October murder of businessman Tushar Atre.
The video is expected to include images of a fourth suspect in the case. A previous video showed three subjects.
Atre was kidnapped from his Pleasure Point home during a crime in early October. Atre was later found dead on a property he owned. He died of a gunshot wound and investigators determined it to be a murder.
The Sheriff’s Office also said it plans to announce a reward increase and new deadline at the news conference. The previous $150,000 reward expired in December.
