(16:00) SOUTH MONTEREY COUNTY – The names of the 2 men who drowned last night have been released. Javier De Leon, and his cousin Emmanuel De Leon, were training their horses near Camphora Gloria Road in south Monterey county yesterday when Emmanuel took his horse into the water, so the horse could get comfortable in the water. The horse spooked, and threw its rider. Emmanuel started treading water, and his cousin went in to help him…..but while trying to get to shore, both men drowned.
