(Updated at 06:37) – A man wanted in connection with a double homicide in Fresno County has been found on the Central Coast. 49-year-old Dave Thomas McCann is suspected of fatally stabbing his estranged wife, 36-year-old Tierney Cooper-McCann, and her mother, 68-year-old Judith Cooper, in Clovis on Saturday. A “be on the lookout” was issued on the Central Coast Tuesday after McCann was spotted traveling northbound toward Big Sur. He was located and apprehended near Monterey around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. (S.G.)

(Posted May 10 at 17:00) CENTRAL COAST- A man wanted in connection with a double homicide in Fresno County is thought to be on the Central Coast. Dave Thomas McCann was reportedly spotted Tuesday afternoon traveling northbound toward Big Sur on a bicycle. Authorities consider him dangerous, and ask that people just call 911 if they spot him, rather than trying to engage with the 49-year-old, 6-foot 2-inch tall, white man, who weighs 220 pounds and is said to have a strong British accent. McCann is believed to have killed his estranged wife, 36-year-old Tierney Cooper-McCann, and her mother, 68 year-old Judith Cooper, by stabbing them to death in his wife’s home in Clovis on Saturday.
