More than 500 firefighters continue to work to get full containment of the 124,924 acre Dolan Fire burning between Highway 1 (south of Big Sur), and Highway 101 (in south Monterey county). This wildfire began on August 18th, and firefighters hope to have it fully contained by next Tuesday. The latest update indicates that the Dolan Fire is 91 percent contained.
