(Updated at 07:21) – A Christmas decoration that was recently stolen from a Carmel Valley business has been returned. Earlier this month, a 6-foot-tall Santa Claus decoration was taken from Carmel Valley Computer Repair. On Thursday, the life-size Santa was found on the doorsteps of Community Church of the Monterey Peninsula. The statue has since been returned to its owner. Deputies have a suspect in custody.

Officials say a 6-foot-tall Santa Claus decoration was taken from Carmel Valley Computer Repair around 6 a.m. last Sunday. The owner is offering a reward to anyone who recovers the life-size Santa. Anyone with information is to contact the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. (S.G.)
