The 47 year-old Brookdale man, who died after he was hit by a pick-up truck yesterday, was reportedly lying in the roadway when he was hit. The driver of the truck said he didn’t see the man lying on the road. The 2:30 p.m. accident took place on Larkspur Street, near Highway 9.
