The people who were killed in yesterday’s shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival were a 6 year-old boy, a 13 year-old girl, and a 20 year-old man….and the suspected shooter, who was killed within a minute of firing into the crowd on the “Ranch” side of the festival. Of the injured, 7 remain hospitalized.
The investigation has uncovered the fact that the 19 year-old shooter legally purchased the SKS rifle in Nevada on July 9th.
A backpack full of ammunition was found at the Gilroy Garlic Festival. Law enforcement officers have since searched his home, and a 2nd location….in hopes of determining his motivation for this shooting.
