At least 1 person died in an early morning accident (that snarled northbound traffic) on Highway 101 today. It started out as a solo-vehicle spin-out, and ended up with 4 vehicles on fire. The incident occurred about 3:30 this morning, just south of Highway 85, and blocked 5 of the 6 lanes of traffic through the Coyote Creek area. All lanes of Northbound Highway 101 (in that area) re-opened around 8 a.m. this morning.
