The beginning of the morning commute on highway 1 was slow this morning, because a tree fell across the northbound lanes (between the Park Avenue and Bay/Porter Exits). Between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. cars were diverted onto Park Avenue. Once they got On-Scene at 5:15 a.m., Cal-Trans crews cleared the tree. They re-opened the northbound lanes by just after 5:30 this morning.
