4 people suffered minor injuries, and a 5th suffered major injuries, when a man driving southbound (in the northbound lanes of Highway 101), caused a 3-vehicle crash. The just before 9 p.m. Saturday night incident took place just south of Thorne Road, near Greenfield. 31 year-old wrong way driver Adolfo Bautista-Santiago, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under The Influence And Causing Major Injuries, was booked into Monterey county jail.
The major injuries were suffered by a woman driving a Mazda out of Washington state
